There are many forms of ‘fever’

During the Corona period, my house helper got a fever. We all thought - he has Corona. But after a few days, we were confused by the symptoms of fever and sent him to the doctor. The doctor said - he has typhoid. We were saved from making a big mistake.

So, in case of fever or any health problem - let the doctor diagnose it without diagnosing it yourself.

How to understand typhoid?

There are also many forms of ‘fever’. So to recognize this ‘fever’, you need to know, for example - how can you understand whether someone has typhoid fever or not?

Experts say - the severity of typhoid fever is usually high and increases step by step. Even if the fever is reduced slightly with medicines like paracetamol, it does not completely cure it.

This fever can last for more than seven days. Along with this, the body may become weak along with headache, vomiting, diarrhea. Constipation also occurs. The patient may become almost unconscious or delirious due to the fever. However, there is less coughing and less pain in the bones.

Doctors often warn us that typhoid bacteria enter the body through contaminated water and food.

Although it first settles in the digestive tract, this Bacteria later spreads throughout the body's blood. If not treated on time, it can cause complications in various organs.

The complications of typhoid are very serious. Such as bleeding due to a leak in the digestive tract, inflammation of the respiratory system and brain, inflammation of the spine or joints, nerve problems or kidney failure, etc. Therefore, it is important to diagnose the disease as soon as possible and start treatment.

If the fever does not subside even a little within five days, a blood test should be done on the advice of a doctor. Typhoid is suspected if the white blood cell count in the blood decreases.

The expert said - While waiting for the blood test report, it is necessary to start treatment quickly with high-dose intravenous antibiotics. Along with this, the patient should take complete rest, plenty of fluids and a balanced nutritious diet. And for fever, paracetamol-like medicines should be taken.

If the patient vomits, saline can be given intravenously. If it is seen from the situation that the typhoid germ is rapidly becoming antibiotic resistant, then the antibiotic may need to be changed after three days.

It is noteworthy that even after starting antibiotics, it may take four to five days for the fever to subside. The expert said that the treatment should be patient at this time. To lead a healthy life, appropriate measures must be taken at the right time.
