Benefits of lemon and rules of its use
All medical sciences are full of praise for the
virtues of lemon. You can find proof of this by going to any type of doctor
(such as - Allopath, Ayurveda, Homeopathy). If you want to have a healthy life
and want to give it to everyone around you, you have to practice these things always.
A slice of lemon in your food every day increases the
taste of the food. It also provides the necessary vitamin C.
Experts say - Lemon is full of vitamin C. It is a
great medicine for various diseases including common cold and cough, and even
cancer. Not only vitamin C, lemon contains vitamins B1, B2, B3, B5, K,
carbohydrates, protein, riboflavin, minerals, calcium, magnesium, and
phosphorus. It does not contain any added fat or cholesterol. It has very low
calories.
Vitamin C not only cures diseases, it also strengthens
the immune system of the human body. Regular consumption of lemons helps in
weight loss, keeps nails and skin beautiful, and keeps the stomach healthy.
You can drink a glass of water with the right amount
of sugar, lemon juice, cloves and black pepper powder mixed in it very well.
This water is unique for digestion, so you will benefit from drinking it after
a heavy meal at an invitation or any event. You can also drink it regularly.
And lemon tea is an excellent drink.
To get the best benefits of lemon in beauty care, you
should eat lemon with the peel. Lemon's ascorbic acid works as an antioxidant.
As a result, the damage that occurs naturally in the internal processes of
cells is much less.
Lemon also helps maintain skin moisture. However, some
caution is required when using it as a pack. Because not everyone's skin is the
same. Some people may have allergic problems with lemon juice. Remember - lemon
juice is citric acid.
Therefore, it should not be applied directly to any
type of skin without knowing its use. If you understand your skin type and use
it according to the rules, your skin will become beautiful.
If
you want to use lemon as a pack, caution is needed
--
According to dermatologists - make the pack you want
to use and first apply a little on the skin behind the ear, if there is any
reaction immediately, discard the pack immediately.
Even if there is no problem, wait 14 days. After 14
days, use the same pack again in the same place in the same way with the same
rules. Test twice in this way. If there is no problem after that, it can be
assumed that the pack will not cause harm to you. You can use the pack from the
next day.
It takes a little longer for some problems to appear
on the skin. Hence this method. If there is any problem on the skin behind the
ear due to sensitivity during this test, it should be treated.
Ayurvedic beauty experts say about the proper use of
lemon in beauty care --
1. For oily skin: - Separate the green part of the lemon peel and blend it. Make a paste with 1 tablespoon of lemon peel paste + 3/4 mint leaves + 6/7 basil leaves + 2 teaspoons of multani soil. Apply the mixture and keep it for 15 minutes. Then wash it off. Use it twice a week.
2. For normal and dry skin: -- Make a pack by mixing
one teaspoon of lemon juice + 1 egg yolk + 1 teaspoon of honey + 6/7 drops of
olive oil + 2 teaspoons of wheat flour. Apply it on the face and leave it for
15 minutes and wash it off. Use it twice a week. This pack brightens the skin
and removes wrinkles.
3. Using lemon juice on hypersensitive skin can cause
problems. So instead of using lemon juice directly on such skin - you have to
do it differently.
Make a paste of the white part of the lemon peel - that
is, the white part remaining after removing the green part and the sour part. Make
a pack by mixing 1 teaspoon of this paste + 1 tablespoon of gram flour + a few
drops of glycerin and vitamin A capsule (liquid medicine inside the capsule).
Apply this pack on your face and wash your face for 10 minutes. Use it twice a
week. Gram flour is an excellent cleanser for hypersensitive skin. This pack is
very beneficial for wrinkles and oily skin.
4. As a body scrub, cleanser or pack: - 2 lemon peel
paste + half a cup of lemon juice (approximately this amount of juice is
obtained from 2 lemons) + 6 tablespoons of semolina + 6 tablespoons of raw
turmeric juice (juice extracted by blending) + 2 egg whites + 2 tablespoons of
olive oil + 3 tablespoons of brown sugar. Instead of brown sugar, white sugar
can be used. However, brown sugar is better. Mix everything together and make a
pack and use it on the body (once a week). Leave it for 15/20 minutes and
remove it with a towel.
This will remove dead skin cells, make the skin
brighter, and eliminate uneven skin color. This pack is effective for any skin
type.
Note here - It is not advisable to use the mixture of
raw turmeric juice and lemon juice directly, it can cause various problems
including allergies depending on the skin. So boil the turmeric juice for 2/3
minutes first. Juice stored in this way can be kept in the refrigerator for up
to seven days. It can be kept in the deep freezer for even longer.
Lemon peel contains essential oil.
