Lead a healthy life 123, importance of healthy sleep
To lead a healthy life - Life is so beautiful _ but In our spending life sometimes we are fall in various types of problems, for that- suddenly we fall in illness - physically or mentally. But some consciousness and take steps in proper time, we can overcome it. Sometimes our ignorance convince us to avoid awareness.
The most readily available liquid in the world is water, and it is equally difficult to find water suitable for drinking or use.
Water is an ingredient in our food - who knows that.
But we do not know that water is essential for survival. Because 60-75 percent
of our weight is water. Every organ in our body needs water.
Generally, we cannot even think that water is needed
for teeth/hair. An adult should drink 2-3 liters of water daily. Therefore, we
must know and accept these small but important things without neglecting them -
to have a healthy life.
The difference between 'drinking water and drinking' -
do we all know or accept this? That is the main point of my writing. No, -
drinking water and drinking drinks are not the same thing -
Due to the presence of different types of ingredients
in each drink, it affects our body according to its condition. Therefore,
drinks cannot be replaced with water.
Many of us are still not aware of which temperature of
drinking water is good for the body. We are very happy to get a glass of cold
water after returning from outside. But we never even consider its harm.
Experts say - of course, we must first pay attention
to the purity of drinking water. Normal temperature or lukewarm water - there
is no problem in either. Rather, excessively cold water is harmful. We like to
refresh ourselves with a glass of cold water or sherbet after coming home from
hard work or the sun. But even if it gives temporary satisfaction, it can also
cause great harm. At this time, normal temperature water is healthy.
On the other hand - let's say someone doesn't drink
beverages, just plain water, even then there is a specific amount of drinking
according to their physical condition.
Don't
neglect repeated thirst -
Doctor says - Are you thirsty all the time? Are you
drinking water repeatedly but your thirst is not being quenched? This can
happen for various reasons. Especially on very hot days. However, it is also a
symptom of some diseases. There is a thirst center or thirst center in the
hypothalamus of our brain. If for some reason there is a lack of water or salt
in the body, this center sends a signal to drink water.
The water balance in the body depends on the amount of
water you drink and urinate.
Now
let's see why you can get thirsty more and more - what medical experts say
-
1. Dehydration
-
If you sweat a lot on a very hot day, after diarrhea
or vomiting, or after a lot of exercise, the body becomes dehydrated. The
tongue becomes dry, even after drinking water repeatedly, it seems that thirst
remains - until the dehydration of the body is eliminated.
Decreased or dark urine, sunken eyes, and dizziness
are also signs of dehydration. This problem can be prevented by drinking water
and fluids regularly in hot, humid weather. Adults should understand this
condition in their own bodies, and parents should be aware of it for children.
2. Diabetes
-
Everyone knows that one of the symptoms of diabetes is
frequent thirst. When blood sugar exceeds a certain level, glucose starts to
come out with urine, glucose takes a lot of water with it. As a result, the
water balance in the body is disturbed, frequent thirst occurs. Along with this,
frequent urination and weakness may occur.
However, remember, this symptom does not occur if
blood sugar does not exceed the renal threshold or the glucose absorption
capacity of the kidneys. So not everyone will have these symptoms.
3. Diabetes insipidus
-
This is not a common diabetes. This problem occurs due
to variations in the ADH hormone. After a brain injury or brain surgery, some
kidney problems may cause a lack or dysfunction of the ADH hormone. As a
result, the amount of urine increases abnormally, even up to 8 to 10 liters of
urine can be produced in 24 hours. Naturally, then there is frequent thirst.
4. Dry mouth
-
Breathing with your mouth open, problems with your
salivary glands, nerve problems or chemotherapy can cause your mouth to become
dry. As a result, you may feel thirsty again and again.
5. Medications
-
Drugs from the diuretic group or SGLT2 inhibitor drugs
for diabetes may cause you to feel thirsty again and again. Smoking, chewing
tobacco, and alcohol also dry out your mouth and increase your thirst for
water.
What
the doctor advises about what to do -
It is not unusual to feel thirsty if you sweat a lot
or work hard in extreme heat. But if you have been thirsty for a while, you
should get your blood sugar tested.
Find out if you are taking any thirst-inducing
medication. There may be a problem with your mouth, teeth or salivary glands -
it will come out if you go to the doctor.
# The doctor warns here in particular - Many people
think that if you feel weak or sick, just giving two or one bag of saline
intravenously will make you healthy and strong. In fact, this idea is not
correct. Different types of saline contain a mixture of salt and glucose in
different proportions. Giving saline without reason can actually be
counterproductive.
For example; Salt can increase in the blood for no
reason, blood pressure and sugar in high blood pressure and diabetic patients
can increase. Even if a person suffering from kidney and heart disease is given
too much saline without realizing it, life can be in danger.

Now let's talk about drinks –
how
beneficial is any tea -
'Tea' is also a drink. We drink different types of
tea. All teas have some properties. They contain antioxidants, caffeine and
potassium. Caffeine acts as a stimulant for the heart, nervous system and
kidney cells. The amount of caffeine you can get from a cup of tea depends on
the time the tea leaves are steeped in hot water. What nutritionists say about
the properties of different types of tea
1. Red tea: Since red tea or raw tea is not boiled for
a long time, it has low levels of caffeine and tannins. The taste of tea
depends on tannins. Red tea has no adverse reactions. So it can be drunk many
times.
2. Milk tea: Milk tea is not that harmful. However,
those who have stomach problems, cannot digest milk or have IBS (irritable
bowel syndrome) problems, it is better not to drink milk tea. Tea has no
calories. Adding milk and sugar to it adds calories. So, those who are
calorie-conscious should not drink milk tea more than once or twice a day.
Apart from that, milk tea is a little less stimulating.
3. Ginger tea: Ginger pieces or ginger juice are mixed
in ginger tea. Ginger increases digestion, helps in treating cold, cough and
cold. Therefore, drinking ginger tea is beneficial in case of viral fever or
acidity in the stomach. A study report by the University of Michigan shows that
drinking ginger tea kills cancer cells and saves normal cells. It works better
than chemotherapy and radiation in preventing cancer. It is also effective in
stopping metastasis.
4. Lemon tea; Lemon tea is useful in eliminating water
deficiency and getting freshness during summer. It also contains potassium,
which keeps the body cool and fresh. This tea is also good for cold and cough.
5. Green tea; Green tea contains antioxidants called
polyphenols and flavonoids. These are not destroyed even after making the tea.
This tea reduces the risk of heart disease and helps prevent cancer. Drinking
green tea regularly prevents the entry of glucose into the body's fat cells. As
a result, cholesterol does not increase, diabetes and obesity are reduced.
Green tea prevents tooth decay. Apart from this, this tea is helpful in
improving memory.
Experts
say there are some things to keep in mind here
-
1. Tea is diuretic, meaning it increases the amount of
urine. So drinking too much tea can cause more urination.
2. Tea prevents iron absorption from the digestive
system. Those with low hemoglobin should not drink tea immediately after
eating. The iron in the food is not fully absorbed by the body.
3. Hot tea increases the amount of sweat during very hot
weather. As a result, dehydration can occur.

It helps in digestion and increases metabolism. Detox water is beneficial for
the liver and skin. It is also helpful in reducing inflammation.
