extreme sun and heat as much as possible. Work in a place with air, fan or AC

Catching
cold in summer is another problem, such as -
We sweat a lot in summer, and that sweat can make us
feel cold. Apart from this, the air-conditioned environment inside the house
and office and the terrible hot and humid outside also make us feel cold.
Virus infections are also more common on such hot
days. So during this time, many people have stuffy noses, foreheads and heads
throb. It is difficult to make sounds through the throat. In most cases, these
are due to inflammation of the nose, ears and throat or sinusitis.
To
lead a healthy life, one must be aware of the problem of
excessive sweating in summer. Doctors give some simple ways to get relief from
inflammation of the nose and sinusitis –
1) Nasal steaming
- You can inhale the hot steam through a bowl of hot water with a few drops of
menthol, cover your head with a towel, and hold your nose 10 inches above the
bowl. Or, close the bathroom window and take a shower with hot water, so that
the hot heat or steam rises in the bathroom. You will see that the congestion
in the nose and sinuses has reduced a lot. You can also soak a towel in hot
water, wring it out, and leave it on your face and eyes for a while.
2) Clearing a stuffy nose
- You can clear your nose with a saline water spray or squirt before going to
bed at night. Or, mix salt with hot water in a kettle and hold your nose near
the steam coming from the kettle. This is more effective than antihistamine
drops to open a stuffy nose. On the contrary, using antihistamine drops can dry
out the inside of the nose and cause discomfort.
3) Food
- Drink plenty of water. At this time, your throat often becomes dry and
dehydrated. Drinking hot lemon tea with ginger will provide relief. Spicy foods
like mustard, garlic, and chili are comforting at this time.
4) Use of antibiotics - In most cases, these problems are caused by allergies or viruses. Antibiotics are not needed. Paracetamol-like medicines are enough to relieve inflammation or pain and discomfort. However, if the fever is more than 104 degrees Celsius or does not improve within 10 days, it is better to seek medical attention.
