To lead a healthy life - Life is so beautiful _ but In our spending life sometimes we are fall in various types of problems, for that- suddenly we fall in illness - physically or mentally. But some consciousness and take steps in proper time, we can overcome it. Sometimes our ignorance convince us to avoid awareness.
My daughter used to suffer from shortness of breath every time she took an exam during her school days. At first, I thought she was making a fool of me. But later I saw that she was really sick. I ran to the doctor -
The doctor said – this is happening due to fear and
tension. And he said – we should not pressure him about anything. We should be
satisfied with what he does happily. Gradually, the problem may go away with
time. Indeed, after 2 years, his problem went away. At that time, I learned a
lot from the doctor. and found out a lot.
The doctor said - shortness of breath may or may not
be a chest or lung disease. It is not that a stethoscope or an X-ray of the
chest can solve all breathing problems.
Having some idea about the problems, whether small or
big, helps in finding solutions and living a healthy, worry-free life.
It is known that often patients come to specialist
doctors with such breathing problems that the doctor himself becomes confused
trying to find the cause of their disease. The cause of the disease cannot be
found in traditional primary examinations.
When it comes to breathing, the first thing that comes
to mind is heart disease and asthma. Because these diseases are well-known
problems all around. We also fear these diseases a lot.
Experts say - When the heart's ability to pump blood
decreases, blood accumulates in the lungs, making the lungs rigid. Then it
takes more energy to breathe. And in case of asthma, the air entering and
leaving the lungs (bronchioles) becomes narrow, causing shortness of breath.
Again, even if there is no lung problem, blood flow to
the heart decreases due to blockage in the blood vessels of the heart. Then
discomfort and shortness of breath are felt in the chest. Apart from this, if
there is fever or anemia, the respiratory rate increases.
If the amount of acid in the blood increases for some
reason (metabolic acidosis), shortness of breath can occur.
This can also happen due to excessive diabetes, kidney
failure, lactate accumulation, or the presence of various toxic substances.
Excessive weight gain is also one of the causes of
breathing problems. Due to obesity, many people have sleep apnea at night and
have to breathe with a machine.
Experts also know that although the cause of
hyperventilation syndrome is not very clear, it is related to anxiety and fear
(panic disorder). It is a mental illness. In this, due to breathing more than
the physical need, carbon dioxide in the blood is released in excessive amounts
with breathing and the level of alkalinity in the blood increases.
It has been seen that in about 25 to 83 percent of
cases, when anxiety and fear occur, a kind of breathing problem is felt, for
which no physical cause can be found.
Therefore, ordinary people like us should know a
little about these difficult things to live a worry-free healthy life.
