Sleep hygiene When we were young, our parents were very conscious about our sleep. They never let us stay up at night to do anything, including studying, they used to say – “There is no alternative to healthy sleep - to lead a healthy life . If we do not sleep properly, our head will not be well, which means the brain will not function properly. If the brain does not function properly, it means that the day is wasted”.  God has also designated night for rest and day for work.  But unfortunately, in the present era of extreme modernity, people have turned day into night – and night into day, we see every where!!   Desire is - I went to sleep, again - spent a few days without sleeping. Or having to take sleeping pills because you can't sleep, going to bed late, so getting up late the next day - none of this is healthy. It is not right to become dependent on sleeping pills because you are not sleeping. Said the expert - There is no substitute for adequate sleep t...

 Lung Disease COPD

Lung Disease COPD

One of my uncles was once a very beautiful, healthy, strong man. He looked like a bodybuilder. But as he got older, I saw that his health started to deteriorate. And a constant cough began to bother him a lot. He went to the doctor. He was diagnosed with COPD.

To have a healthy life, we have to be "always vigilant" about each of our organs. Otherwise, it is not done when the time passes.

None of us can say when and how any part of this body will become damaged. Some problems appear suddenly, and some problems come gradually - but due to our lack of awareness and arbitrariness, they become big at one time. Then it becomes difficult to handle!

Experts say - Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a type of complex lung disease. It causes breathing problems.

21 percent of people over the age of 40 in the country suffer from COPD, of whom 62 percent are smokers. About 63,000 people die from this disease every year. COPD is a complex and lifelong health problem. Therefore, widespread awareness is needed to prevent this disease.

In COPD, some of the walls of the small sacs or alveoli in the lungs are destroyed. The elasticity of the small tubes in the lungs decreases and the walls of the tubes thicken, narrowing the passage of air. COPD starts gradually. It increases over time. The disease manifests itself in middle age or old age.

Symptoms of COPD are cough, phlegm, wheezing, shortness of breath, chest tightness, etc.

This disease is closely related to smoking. In addition, air pollution, dust, smoke, etc. cause inflammation in the lungs, which can cause COPD. This disease causes permanent damage to the lungs, which cannot be completely cured. The patient has to spend his life using various types of inhalers and, if necessary, low-level oxygen at home.

COPD patients often have lung infections, so antibiotics are sometimes needed.

The difference between this disease and asthma is in the symptoms and treatment.

To avoid COPD, smoking and tobacco must be avoided. The adverse effects of air pollution can be prevented by eating vitamin C-rich fruits or vegetables. Lemon, amalaki, guava, grapefruit, pineapple, mango, grapes, green pepper, olives, plums, oranges, tomatoes, cabbage, etc. are important sources of vitamin C.

Some very simple and easy awareness can give everyone a beautiful healthy life. Know – to lead a healthy life.
