Just as sleep is
important for living a healthy life, it is also important to be aware of sleep
problems.
Sleep is a natural need for the body. Good sleep makes
the body and mind strong, increases performance. At least for some time, it
keeps you away from all the worries, unrest, lies and troubles of the current
life. And this gives you new strength, courage and enthusiasm to move forward.
But there are problems with this sleep too. You have
to be careful about the problem. Otherwise, it can take a complicated shape.

Sleep apnea (be aware of problematic sleep)
Chest disease specialists know that some people become
unconsciously suffocated for a while during sleep. After a while, the natural
breathing process starts again. Such a problem is called sleep apnea.
# Sleep apnea is of two types –
1. Obstructive
Sleep Apnea - OSA: During sleep, the airway becomes blocked, disrupting normal
breathing and the patient starts snoring.
2. Central
Sleep Apnea - CSA: The appropriate signal from the brain does not reach the
muscles that control breathing, resulting in the respiratory process being
blocked.
The patient with OSA-type sleep apnea is not aware of
this problem during sleep. When he turns over during sleep, snoring stops and
breathing becomes normal.
Then, the person suffering from CSA wakes up from
sleep with a startle and becomes conscious.
# Remember, sleep apnea and snoring are two different
problems. Not all those who snore during sleep have sleep apnea. On the other
hand, many sleep apnea patients do not snore, but they live a life with risky
health.
Some
symptoms of risky sleep apnea:
1. Despite
sleeping well at night, if you feel sleepy and drowsy all day.
2. Feeling
suffocated during sleep, anyone lying on their side will notice - you startle
repeatedly during sleep.
3. Headache
in the morning, dry lips and tongue or sore throat.
4. Loud
snoring during sleep.
5. Irritability
and moodiness, inability to concentrate on anything.
OSA
(sleep apnea) - It reduces our efficiency. Increases
the risk of heart disease. You can get rid of this problem by making some
changes in your lifestyle. The first thing is to lose weight. Excess weight is
mainly responsible for such problems. Regular physical exercise reduces weight.
Avoid smoking and alcohol. Make a habit of sleeping on your side so that the
tongue does not roll down into the throat.
CSA
(Sleep Apnea) - Many people do not pay attention to
snoring, stopping breathing and repeatedly waking up during sleep. There is a
good treatment for sleep apnea. If you are not aware and do not take treatment,
the problem will become complicated, saving your life will become risky.
Life in this world is already very short, why would
you shorten the short time even more due to a little lack of awareness? Be aware
- enjoy the allotted time - to lead a healthy life.
