There are many problems in our daily life, and health problems arise from it. Physical and mental - both are equal health problems, and both are treatable.
We give importance to physical problems but not mental
problems. However, it is very important to consult a doctor. Or many times we
can't understand what to do first and what to do later in some illness. There
are some problems - many times we can solve the problem ourselves by staying at
home and following some rules or lifestyle changes.
Again, when we fall ill, we go to the doctor, the
doctor also gives advice and prescriptions as needed, but as we overcome the
danger we shake everything from our mind. In fact, we do our own harm in this.
Knowing some basic health knowledge will benefit you
at no cost, 4 simple habits that will keep you away from diseases –
The advice we get when we go to the doctor for any
health problem is that it is better to try to prevent the disease than to treat
it once it occurs. In other words, prevention is better than cure - everyone
knows this. But just knowing is not enough -must obey. Some simple healthy
habits can prevent many diseases. If we teach our children to practice these
habits from childhood, they will be able to stay disease-free. We're pretty
health conscious these days, but we still have the oddity. If we give
importance to what we know, we can live well.
1. Hand
washing habits and keeping nails short -Never put anything in
your mouth without washing your hands. Do not even apply to nose and eyes. Keep
fingernails short. Keeping fingernails short and regular hand washing practices
play an important role in preventing typhoid, dysentery, cholera, diarrhea,
hepatitis A, worm disease, eye infections etc.
2. Healthy
eating habits - Food should be eaten on time. Do not
skip any meal. Especially breakfast. Food should be balanced. Food should
contain the required amount of calories, food-grains, vitamins and minerals. Consume
enough vegetables. The quantity and type of oil should be healthy. A balanced
diet helps prevent diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, some cancers
and obesity. Avoid eating moldy food, stale food, open food that has been left
out for a long time, or food served with unclean hands. Make it a habit to
brush your teeth after meals, especially at night.
3. Regular
physical activity - Walking, running, jogging, swimming,
cycling are examples of physical activity or exercise. Do any exercise at least
five days a week for 30 minutes a day. Regular exercise will help prevent
diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, obesity, some cancers, etc.
4. Sense of cleanliness -- bathe regularly. Wear clean clothes. Avoid using personal items shared by others such as handkerchiefs, towels, combs, toothbrushes, hats, clothes, etc. Never spit anywhere - not even on the street. Do not throw garbage everywhere. Most of the diseases spread from these civil habits. Still, grief is a God-given part of our lives. So, here are some ways to keep yourself active and at peace in your life, you can follow and try –
a. Exercise:
Start exercising slowly. In the beginning, exercise for 10-20 minutes every
day. If you have not been involved in exercise for a long time or have a
serious illness, it is better to consult a doctor.
b. 30-minute
cycle: Do 30 minutes of physical activity every day.
Practicing different body postures, walking for 10 minutes after lunch,
gardening for 10 minutes etc. It will keep your body and mind healthy.
c. Working
muscles: Weight lifting plays an important role in this. You
can practice muscle circulation and stretching with a water bottle or dumbbells
at the gym or at home as prescribed by your doctor or consultant.
d. Peace
of Mind: You can do regular meditation or yoga to keep your
mind calm or peaceful. It will make your decision making, problem solving much
easier.
e. Financial
Planning: Home based projects can be done at low cost on own
initiative. Like you can follow health tips from TV/Radio too. YouTube can help
you with meditation. CDs are available for purchase in the market. The real
truth is – walking, jogging, exercising does not require any special equipment.
f. Rest: Rest and sleep are also necessary for healthy functioning, which helps your mind and brain to recharge. Get at least six to seven hours of sleep every day. Take occasional breaks from work. go for a walk These will help you maintain your fitness to lead a healthy life.
