Is it right to use 'walker' to teach the child to walk?

A child of my neighbor fell down the stairs with a walker a few days ago, and was seriously injured - the child is on the verge of life/death!! Seeing this, the question came to my mind - we also learned to walk in our childhood, how was that learning method?

If such an accident happens - is it necessary to use a walker?

After the baby is born, we enjoy every step of the baby's growth. Everyone in the family or in the neighborhood enjoys it. Baby's crawling, sitting up, trying to stand are all a matter of enjoyment for parents or family, all of this makes everyone happy in the family. And in this joy we seem to overdo it in many ways - at least that's what the pediatricians say –

Many people buy walkers as a hobby to teach children to walk. We also give walkers to children as gifts. We believe that using a walker will help children learn to walk faster. But this is our misconception.

If we observe properly, we can realize at the end of the day that our all usual systems are best for a healthy life.

Experts say – (1). The truth is that it may take 12 months to 18 months or even two years for some to learn to walk according to the rules of normal physical development of a child. Using a walker will help the baby learn to walk earlier, not that.

(2). Rather, in many cases, using a walker is a little late in starting to walk, as he gets used to walking using it. Afraid to stand alone, lacking self-confidence.

(3). Naturally a baby learns to stand first. Then tried to walk little by little. Sometimes falls, tries to get up and walk again. With repeated falls, the waist, legs and other parts of the child's body begin to develop.

(4). On the other hand, it is at this time that the parts of the baby's brain that control or stimulate balance also develop. The whole process of becoming like this is once completed perfectly, and then he is able to walk perfectly. Using a walker or other device disrupts this process of developing the baby's brain.

(5). Also, at the age when a baby is given a walker, he is not in full control of himself. With the wheels attached, walkers often roll from side to side, resulting in accidents. Most accidents happen on stairs or slopes. It is also not rare to fall over or lose control while picking something up from the ground from a walker.

(6). Due to the walker baby walk on the toes, which tightens the wrong muscles of the baby's feet. When the child learns to walk normally, he stands on his feet, raises his feet when necessary, and uses the ankles and knees correctly.

The bottom line is that if a child learns to walk by rolling over and over again, he will not have joint problems, muscle development will be fine, and he will learn to use his limbs and balance better - this is the opinion of experts.

Research Report Says - because of walker many accidents to children around the world. According to an article in the Journal of Pediatrics, 230,000 children were injured in accidents in the United States from 1990 to 2001.

And so - the Canadian government has reportedly banned the use of walkers for children.

We need to understand the healthy approach with awareness to lead a healthy life
